One of the cool features that Rex brings to your smart home is the ability to schedule and adjust the sensitivity of the camera's motion detection. You can modify the settings so that motion is triggered when a human is detected.
This feature is good for households with pets (ie dogs or cats) that might be roaming. Settings are made using the Imou app, which is available for Android and iOS mobile devices. Just go to settings and set notifications and alerts for when human detection occurs.
How does Rex's unique movement and human detection work? The camera comes with advanced AI human detection technology built into the camera. This unique technology uses image processing technology to accurately find humans in the live feed from your camera (depends on your settings).
Another nice feature of the Rex security camera is its night vision. The Rex security camera uses advanced IR algorithms to give you a clear view of what's going on in your home in complete darkness. This technology allows you to clearly see any object or person up to 33 feet in the room.
And if privacy is a concern, the Rex security camera comes with a privacy mode. All you need to do is touch the apps screen and it will automatically lower the camera lens to prevent anyone from accessing your camera and seeing what's going on inside your home.
